Seashells

365 Magical Moments: Day 6

I have this decorative seashell filled with other tiny, decorative seashells. It's just something I picked up years ago at the craft store, back when I lived in California.

One of the things I really miss about living in California is the beach. I miss sitting on a rocky outcropping along the 17-mile drive or just past Cannery Row in Monterey and watching the waves crash against the rocks.

This little seashell decoration reminds me of it.

Cherry Candycanes

365 Magical Moments: Day 5

This morning, a package arrived from my mom in the US. It had in it, amongst other things, a box of cherry candycanes. Finding candycanes other than peppermint ones is not easy to do here in the UK. None of the stores where I live carry any candycanes other than peppermint. Because of this, my children were very excited to have cherry ones arrive.

Chicken Involtini

365 Magical Moments: Day 2

This isn't what I had planned on sharing photographically today, but I tried a new recipe and it came out perfectly and tasted great, so it was worth sharing.
